MUSIC STUDY, MOBILITY, AND
ACCOUNTABILITY PROJECT

NEW:  The MSMA Project Considered "Best Practice" by the European Commission

____________________________________

Between 2002 and 2004, a European - American Working Group explored issues regarding student and faculty exchanges, curricula, and evaluation criteria and procedures. Funding was provided by the project partners and by the European Commission and the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education of the United States Department of Education.

Information and resource documents produced by the project are presented in the following categories:

IMPORTANT NOTES
  1. HYPERLINKS.  Links to external websites and to other document titles are contained in many of the various resource texts within the MSMA project website. Clicking on a link to an external website will direct readers to that specific website.  However, in order to minimize the possibility of broken links and ensure that you will be downloading the latest version of a document, links to document titles will direct readers back to a page within this project website providing lists of these documents, from which readers may download any or all titles in a particular category.
  2. LANGUAGE.  The texts of project documents use British English except when the entire content is a direct quote from an American publication, or addresses American practices or issues.
  3. PRINTABLE DOCUMENTS.  Documents have been uploaded to this website as Adobe Acrobat PDF files. You will need to have or install Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print these documents.
  4. TRANSLATIONS. If available, French and German translations of documents described and linked within the MSMA website can be downloaded at the AEC Bologna website.
